Talked to my buddy who owns a body shop yesterday about this. He said he does have folks come in to have the painted front bumpers fixed up from road rash. Says it runs $1500-$1800 on a full sized truck. So PPF'ing those suckers can save you some good money.

He also said if he were ordering a new truck, he'd go chrome.

I rubbed the guide pole from my Snowblower and just grazed my flat black painted bumper on my 2021 WarLock. literally right down to bare metal!

I just spent seven weeks dealing with a local dealer. Denied ($2,200.00) repair under warranty. Took in at 35,000 miles (At least 100 chips off front painted bumper). 2021 Limited model. Never off road. Rest of the truck (Plastic bumpers / glass / hood, etc. not damaged and they all hit same debris.). Didn't happen in one event. Just normal driving. I have already driven another 5K since reporting damage and it is getting worse. I have never had any car or truck look this bad, even when up to 150K miles. I buy at least one car or truck / year, but they have lost me for future purchases.
