Painted Cloth Seats

Looks good. Really makes the seats stand out vs. blending in with all the other gray in the cockpit of these trucks.

That's slick man. If that paint can hold up on a seat, it will be what I paint anything else vinyl or plastic with. I may even strip my dash and redo it with that stuff. Let us know how it holds up, I'm really curious. Great job on the seats, they look awesome!

Thanks! It seems most people use this stuff on old vinyl to restore their interior on older vehicles. Check out Dupli-Color's website. Some guys do their whole car interior. They have a pretty sick boat that had its seats re-done with it. He did some pretty fancy design: Dupli-Color :: Success Story - 1985 Chris Craft Boat Restore Project

Not many people did cloth seats so I thought I'd pioneer it. All my neighbors and friends at work are really impressed with the results. It's not perfect but I'm really happy with it.

I got it at Advance Auto. They had Flat Black (what I used), gloss black, light gray, dark gray and a forest green or some kind of red I think. Online they have many more colors.

I have the Clazzio seats but the center jump is a pain. That may be the answer to that issue; paint the top vinyl black and the sides. I'm also thinking about the headliner as well as I dislike that light gray. Never thought of this...

I had a friend use it about 8 months ago and it has started to come off. I have no idea whether he properly prep the seats though.

Foot prints, lol, jk. I always forget after I've done some work or something and touch the liner or my twins run their hands all over it
