Painting headlight housing WHITE... ??

I bought smoked halo headlights for my dodge about 3 months ago and now I'm iffy about the look of them. I think they make the front end look a lil too busy with the cowl hood. Has anyone ever tried anything besides smoked and chrome?


I've seen this look on corvettes. Just not sure how it'd work on the ram. I probably would mask off some of the black to frame the halos but idk?

I think painting them white would look awesome! Check out some of the retro headlights on the forum that have been painted white. They look great!!

do it!!!!! i'm rocking color matched retro fitted headlights i did myself, love it.. it's just custom, you can't buy it off the shelf, you got to either do it yourself or pay a specialist...

that being said, i think that would look killer on your truck!

I think painting them white would help, but I personally feel the housings you have are just a busy design that doesn't really flow with the truck.

I think some stock 07+ housings with the trim rims painted white would really simplify / clean it up.

i'd drop in some new projectors in there (morimoto mini) and paint the entire thing white.
