Have anyone tried doing their own repair. I just a bought a beginner set because I'm always getting dents every time I get a new ride... People here just don't have a common courtesy. When I was in Germany I could park my M3 anywhere and not a scratch or dings. I have to park my 1500 away from everyone else so I won't get any more dings...

Sorry for not being able to help. But I'd love to see the before and after. My wife's Terrain has a few nice dents in one of her doors.

My dad had a kit, its do able if you have an idea of what your doing
His was the kind that came with a hot glue gun, you glued a stud to the body panel and used a pulling bridge to pull outwards
The stud would pop off before you could get good pressure on it so you would have to repeat several time to get good results

I had the roof and hood of my '11 PDR'd and it worked wonders.
The guy was a hail chaser, lived in a camper and followed storms around.

Ive had both my old truck and wife toyota done by and paintless dent repair shop and you would never know there was ever any damage when I got them back, works wonders much better than a body shop, no filler no paint repair. I think it takes some practice. The guy at the shop I wnet to said if I wanted to learn to buy a begginer set and go to the wrecking yard buy an old hood and door and practice, ALOT!
Best of luck let us know and before/after pics would be nice.

My kit came in yesterday and I did couple dents today. My truck is new and people have no consideration when opening their doors. I didn't do a before picture but it took me a while because I didn't have the proper lighting. I'm going to refine it as soon as I get a reflector light.

My truck has a minor flaw on the bed a couple inches down from the bed rail almost like someone leaned up against it. Not a huge deal but it does kind of bother me since the truck only has 1700 miles on it. I was thinking about taking to a PDR guy to see if they could get it out. You do have to be careful though as I had one taken off my last truck and they must have scratched the coating off the back of the panel and I had a rust bubble showing through just before I traded it in.

I tried it a couple years ago but didn't work out so good. Luckily it was a auction car. Usually I just have the guy that works for the company I paint for do it. I learned I am a much better painter than PDR tech. I used the prof tools but it didn't help me. If you only use the glue and a puller its not bad but I will say be careful with the rods those and over push a dent quick
