This happens usually when it rains but when i park the truck the running lights won't turn off. Sometimes i get lucky and turn key on/off a few times and they turn off. Other times i have to unhook negative battery until morning and usually its good by then. But its definitely getting more common. Is this for sure a tipm issue? If not how would i troubleshoot to find the cause? The engine bay/tipm area is dry i don't see any water getting in anywhere. Thanks

Likely a relay sticking on, I don't know if these are on a relay, but that would be the first thing to look for, you can have corrosion in the lower part or center of the Tipm that you can't see from what I see.

It's all directly controlled by the BCM. If there is a sticking relay, SSR or mosfet, it is non-serviceable and soldered onto a circuit board inside the BCM.

When you flip a switch, push a button, etc, you are just telling the BCM what you want to do.

The BCM then opens/closes the appropriate circuits to make it happen.

This is the diagram for the truck with premium lighting (factory projectors/LED signals). But, if you have quads, the it's just a slightly different version of the same. Fewer wires, but still all directly to the BCM.
