Changed out the OEM Firedud HT (275/70r18) at 42K miles; they were close to their wear bars and I was having issues in wet weather (spinning wheels at red light).
Got a heck of a deal on a set of Discount tire Pathfinder AT’s (rebranded Hankook Dynapro ATM’s). I think including all of the rebates I paid $600 for the set; I believe they jacked up the price to $199 per tire. Any ways, I am at 84K (42K on the tires) and it looks like the tires can go another 10K easily! Very pleasantly surprised by the tire. I actually wanted the tire to wear out so that I can slap on a new wheel / tire combo that I bought:
Wheels: Asanti Warthog 20x9 (-12mm offset)
Tires: 295/65r20 (35.1” tall with 129 load rating) Nitto Terra Grappler G2’s
New TPMS and black chrome lug nuts.
Looks like I will need to exercise some discipline and wait couple more months! Will post pics once I have the new tires and wheels on the truck.
