I've had my PC on the truck for about 4 years. Had the check engine light on the last few miles and now in addition I have the electronic throttle control light on and the temp gauge drops to zero. Can the PC cause this?
thanks

Some PPL have reported issues. U can always pull PC, disconnect battery, touch neg/positive together 30 seconds, and await an hour then reconnect w/o PC and see??? This is only IMHO...

Thanks- just did that and cleared the lights (except the touching of the cables) Will test drive and see what happens.

YW, sometimes that PC gets weird, sometimes a battery going bad with PC, get weird. have your Battery Checked for status and capacity. I have not gotten a PC to put in MY 19. My RAM stays parked 98% of the time, so really just a glorified grocery getter and hay getter, LOL.

If the lights come on again I will read the codes. I disconnected the PC to see if it throws more codes, thanks. Battery has been OK.

touch neg/positive together

You just know someone will do just that............................

But, now that I have your attention. When I first joined the Forum after buying our RAM November last year. I wondered what's with all the hype about PC?? I read what it did. But why? Well after standing on the throttle a few times. I know. And I am now considering one.

My question is what is it about the RAM or is it the Hemi that gives us this wonderful (NOT) throttle lag? I have never had a vehicle do that. Even my old carburetor cars did what it is supposed to when floored. When I want it I want it NOW!!!!!!

Can not find an answer amongst the zllion Pedal Commander postings.

Anyone?
Thanks.

What's the problem with touching the battery cables together? Many new vehicles require this to do a reset. It drains any standing voltage in onboard capacitors safely. It allows you to not have to wait an hour or more for that voltage to drain on its own.

I was being facetious and talking about someone touching the battery terminals together. Sometimes you have to be specific.

"disconnect battery, touch neg/positive together 30 seconds"

JOKE!:) I guess not that funny.
