I may be opening myself up for a larger problem here but,
has anyone on here tried to get in touch with anyone at Modern Muscle Extreme out of Virginia?

I've contacted them and at first they responded right away. When I sent them the information that they had requested from me they did not respond again.
I feel like I'm being ghosted.

Anyone else?

Scott and Chris are on alot of the hi-po car pages on facebook,you might do better trying to get ahold of them on facebook.I know Scott is very active on the hi-po car pages,and his brother Chris is also on them,just not as active as Scott is.I think Chris runs the Virginia shop and Scott runs the Florida shop.

Where is the Florida shop? I've seen no evidence of a shop in Florida from their website.

My mistake,for some reason i was thinking of American Muscle. Byron of Modern Muscle is also on alot of the hi-po facebook pages.
Did you actually pick up a phone and talk to them by phone.

I actually asked for a 8hp70 to 65rfe swap......would not think that would be an EPA thing......8-speed was supposed to improve fuel mileage......LoL

Alot of shops will do engine swaps/cam swaps etc.,but won't touch a RFE to 8 speed swap,as it's not all that common a swap,and they don't have any experience doing that swap.That's only a Ram truck thing,so it's a fairly small niche market,and not worth their time to take it on,and the head-aches associated with such a swap.

MMX was the closest one near me doing that swap at 1 time.
I know they were doing it a few years back.....looks like I waited to late.
Maybe the headaches is why they stopped..... LoL......And they responded by they were getting away from shop time & focusing on parts & new development.

That’s on my list of wants also , but the rfe is still holding up to my use .
. And my better half wouldn’t be happy with the cost , but if the current one had issues ?

Wonder if we could get a group discount hahaha.

I couldn't get past the voicemail system this time. When I did the engine swap 3 years ago and needed a tune they were "Johnny on the spot" with customer service. I can't get anyone on the phone and now nobody is answering their email.

Hunt Bryon up on a facebook page he's on,and back him into a wall,and see if you get anywhere. Exactly why are you trying to get ahold of them anyways?

Been tweeking a tune with Matt since the engine swap. I reached out about a month ago and got an immediate reply from Matt. Now I'm just getting ghosted.

Find a differant tuner then. Mario Commentti has a pretty decent rep these days,he's only one though,there's some pretty good tuners floating around now.Ryan Hogan of FRP is another one you could try to.
If you have lots to spend Tim Barth / Curt Dusterhoff /AJ Berg are at the top of the list,but you're gonna need deep pockets to deal with those guys.
Sometimes you have to write off what you've spent and move onto another tuner,if you're getting nowhere with your current tuner.I wrote off $1500 on one tuner,and went to a better tuner a few years back

Gonna try one more time. They still advertise some parts I want. I may just have to do as you suggest and move on and look for different suppliers and tuner.
