So since I'm adding the body lift soon (sitting in the box staring at me everyday) and plan to swap out the muffler as I gotta mess with the exhaust to bring it up 3 inchs. I found a killer deal on a dual exhaust bumper. Just the chrome part. 60$. However it has a few dents where someone backed into a trailer hitch or something. So my plans were to fill the holes and line-x it. Currently looking for a stock dual exhaust to use the pipes from. Found one but buddy won't lower his price.

Question I have for you guys is if the back bumper is black do you think it would still look good with the chrome front. Or not.

How much do you want to pay for stock pipes I have some in my garage right now that I don't foresee putting back on any time soon.

My stock bumper is chrome without cut outs. And I plan to keep it upstairs in the garage to put it back on down the road.

I only need from the muffler back. And shipping to Canada would kill the deal I'd figure

ah yeah didn't see your location in your info. Yep that would kill it for sure. Used to have buddies that drove truck out that way but they have been out of that game for awhile now, bummer.

To answer your question, my preference would be the bumpers match. But I'm OCD that way. I just blacked out my tailpipes and tailgate badge because my grill was blacked out. Keep us posted with pics when you update. :)

I hate the Chrome, got rid of my chrome front bumper and as soon as I get around to it I will roll bedliner on the back bumper. The cool thing is because your truck is white, the black trim looks awesome. I would linex them both, front and back. Do your nerf bars too.

Not only should they match, it'd drive me nutz if the didn't.

Hahaha I'd have to use white out and a black sharpy to fix that!

So decided to line-x the new rear bumper. And currently on the lookout for a front one with fog light cut outs. And will line-x that one as well as the steps. Only leaving the headlights and grill to have any chrome. That will complete the look for now. Be awhile till all that is done. But that's the plan

2 coats on. Needs another coat or 2 to touch up a few spots that look different in the light. But can't wait to get it installed on the truck.

I think it looks great! Did you do the backside? Was curious because that coating will keep rust from ever showing up.

What brand are you using? Is it a can or with the spray guns you can buy. I'm really thinking about doing the bottom of the Jeep all the way around.

That looks wicked. I'd like to do my front and rear bumpers. I think the side exit exhaust would be less noticeable with the body lift though. The duals complicate it when lifting it up to match the body lift.

I did do the back!!! and it is Duplicolor Truck Bed liner in a rattle can, not sure if they have that one in the States, but comes out nice texture at 8inchs from the bumper.

now that i see the back bumper on the Front and side steps need done!! i took the side steps off to make it easier to do the body lift, and I have already sprayed the brackets!! I plan to install the duals when we do the lift, and get them aligned in the right spot at that time, so for now this is how she sits! I leave in 3 days to go back to alberta for 3 weeks, so she will be on hold till i get back on the 23rd.

Im starting to get impatient and just want it finished!!

I know what you mean by impatient, I'm ready to lift my truck now but I won't be able to fund it until after Christmas. Then she's gettin' lifted and new wheels. Truck looks great, keeps us posted when you get back!
