Aftermarket rear bumper

Anyone have experience with aftermarket chrome bumpers? Unfortunately mine got dinged - 2014 Dual exhaust with parking sensors. I looked at it as an opportunity to get an aftermarket with the step inserts on the corners. None to be had that I can find. It looks like the outboard parking sensors interfere with the steps. I had a local small body shop offer to drill holes for the sensors - not sure if the sensors will work properly or how he would harvest the sensors / wiring from my current bumper. Any ideas?

I made a cheap Ebay bumper work. Sensors work as far as I know, hardly ever use them. Not sure if I would bother trying to put holes in a chrome bumper, no way to seal after and that is where the chrome will start to peel up.

If you are set on having chrome, I would look into retrofitting a Silverado rear bumper. They also have the sensors as well as the corner steps. It will be more legwork on your end to measure to see if it's easily do-able, but then you could have the "shop" or backyard mechainc do the install for you.

After my 3rd aftermarket chrome rear bumper, I just replaced it with a Ranch Hand. If I had the money I would get it chromed.

I put a steelcraft rear bumper on mine. Not chrome( I personally don’t like chrome) and get people coming up to me asking where they can get one. Really like it.
