If that truck is as clean in person as it looks in your photo then that's one hell of a find. Nice job!
I got extremely lucky. It is really clean all around, surface rust on the undercarriage, great looking interior. I'm finding minor issues here and there, like the third break light out and the passenger side map light out. The dash is lightly cracked, I'll buy a cover for it when it warms next year so the adhesive will cure easily.

Don't ask what I paid for it, but it was at a stealership and it had everything I wanted, so...
I'll be putting a pop-up camper and boat on it and venturing up into British Columbia, Yukon and Alaska (from Oregon), so I'm sinking a small fortune into it, for peace of mind - and the pride of it . If you know a mellow and ***** lady who might want to join me, let me know (65, plus or minus 20 - I'm not picky :Big Laugh:)(someone above the Madeline Albright level, though:Big Laugh:).

1995 2500HD, Cummins 5.9, 47RH auto. Purchased this a few months ago. Has 200,000 miles. No blowby, no smoke, starts right up and runs good. The P-pump appears to have been worked on and it has plenty of acceleration, for what it is. I have no idea if the KDP has been fixed. I'll be opening it up in a couple months, after the weather warms. What's wrong: The intermittent washer wants to be continual; the passenger window is very slow; the overhead compartment fell off the other day - it had been glued together - typical crappy Dodge plastic - I ordered an aluminum replacement online. It has a dash cap inside which looks pretty good. I pulled the carpet and will be replacing it once I figure out where the water is leaking in from . I suspect the differential gears were swapped because it goes a lot faster than the speedo says it is (more than the taller wheels would explain)(could be a bad speedo or drive though). The wide wheels I'll be ditching later - not my style. The steering sucks. I ordered a PSC box and all the other stuff to fix that. I hope to go with Carli springs at some point, if I decide to keep it. I paid too much for it, at a dealer (27k), but I suddenly needed a truck and I saw this, with a 8' bed and standard cab, which is what I wanted. I really need to get this steering fixed though. It takes two hands on the wheel to feel safe.
Oops. I already added this truck here. It's above. Anyway, double trouble. ;)
Where's the delete button?

She's going into primer today. I started this as a "lets get the peeling clear a little less noticable" Whoops I got carried away. I currently own 3 of these 2nd gens and I have to downsize. Any ideas what I should ask for my 96 1500 4x with the 5spd manual trans?
