Piston slap

Regarding cold start knocking noise on 5.7 hemi motors. This is piston slap, do not be lied to by others. Ram put a new motor in mine because of this problem. These motors are known for this problem. Dont be fooled.

I've had many of the '99-07 GM trucks with the LS motors in them and those are known far and wide for piston slap. I heard just a touch of what sounded like piston slap in my Ram this morning for the first time (had it 9 days now) and wondered if that's what it was. It only lasted literally 1 second or so, so I doubt it's lifters.

My truck took til 190k to have some MInor piston slap when really cold was never a issue.
