I been having a odd flutter type sound, almost sounds like a bad sub, only from passenger side rear sub. Was trying to figure out why this was happening, decided to fold seat up a few inches and sound stopped. So I felt the carpet under rear seat,(underside of seat), feels hollow then feels like a plastic flat piece in there below cusion or springs, not sure what's in there, so I barely tapped it and could hear same sound. Has anyone opened up these seats to remove this? So when bass hits, this is vibrating causing the odd sound. Probably going to have to cut hole see what's in there grrr.

Frustrating chasing down these types of things, any chance it's ducting for the HVAC? The good part is even if you cut a hole in whatever plastic it may be you can patch it with dynamat or some sound deadening material and cure your problem hopefully..
Take some pics of what you find as I'm sure your not the only one with this issue...

Ya was my thoughts too. But when you lift rear seat, there's like a carpet material on the bottom of seat, so subs point up at that carpet. When you push on the carpet it's hollow under the seat(feeling) but then pushing up I can feel a flat feeling piece in there, would be under the springs in seat or cushion, not sure how these are made. The thing I feel runs the whole length of the seat(I have the split seats in back think it's called 60/40. Maybe Ram added that to reflect the OEM sub sound, I dunno, but I know it makes a odd rattle sound like a blown sub when bass turns up. Guess I will have to cut into seat grrrr. Definitely not hvac, it's on rear bench. I don't get that odd sound on drivers side sub. I am sure it's coming from under seat because just feeling under seat, the thing in there, moves around and I can hear same type rattle sound, suprised others never commented on this. Just noticed I said almost same thing twice lol. I have some new infinity kappa 1200w's going in this week.
