Please help a 1 day old 4th gen Ram owner with his k&n intake!!

I just traded in my 3rd gen and got a 4th Gen. It came with a K&N intake and Flowmasters exhaust.

I'm trying to replace the K&N Filter as it looks like it's seen better days and a "recharge" kit doesn't look like it will help.

I went to Pep Boys to buy a new k&n filter as they sell them but the biggest one they had, a 4" opening, didn't look even close to the one on my truck.

I need the replacement filter for the 63 series intake, but on the K&N site there are like 5 versions that all look the same and each one has a different filter replacement number.

How can I tell which one I have to order the correct filter???

Mine takes a RF-1044 look at it and see if it's the same size.

The recharger kit should work, but having two filters is not a bad thing

Like said above RF-1044 is the one that came with the 63 series

Now that sounds about right... the opening is huge, never seen one that big before.

Some of your auto part stores carry them. I think Autozone or advance auto might have them in stock.

Thanks, I'll check them tomorrow before I order it online. Amazon probably has them with Same Day/2 Day and I'm a Prime member. I'll check Auto Zone and AAP first.

Yea but they list 4 or 5 different series 63 models and each one has a different filter replacement number.
