Plug-in behind dash

Found this plug-in behind the dash when i had it apart, anyone know what it is?
Im still learning about rams.

If it's under the steering whee kit might be for a trailer brake. I bought my truck used and it came with a trailer brake control. It was just plugged in to a connector under the dash.

It was behind where the climate controls and stereo are

I believe that connects to the Trailer Brake Control switch that mounts on the dash.

I don't think that information is correct. If it is behind the climate controls, I am 98% sure that id the connector for the OEM AUX switches. You would have that switch if you have heated seats.

Yeah, its not trailer brake port. Trailer brake port is usually under steering wheel near pedals.

That may be for the aux switches. The trailer brake has 3 harnesses. 2 under the drivers foot well for the module and 1 behind the climate controls for the switch. The reason I don't think it is for the trailer brake is because it is a female style connector. All the trailer brake ones are male...
