Plug in?

Hey all. My 17 1500 5.7 has a plug in next to the radiator. Yes I've looked in the OM but it only talked about diesels having this. Is it a block heater? It's fixing to get real cold so I might need it.

If you bought it brand new it is most likely a block heater. You can check your equipment build sheet to see if it is stock. If you bought it used, you'll need to trace the cord. Could be a block heater, battery tender or ???
