I love getting creative and making a machine into something that’s not original.... was gonna put the belvedere hood scoop on it and wait for the 94-98 Cummins install
I had an outdoor spot that I used, but then my neighbour was parking super close to the truck, just to be a jerk, so I used another outdoor spot, and that person was clueless and could never park straight, always pretty much on the line between our vehicles, so I tried the garage we kept our Dodge caravan in. Wouldn’t fit, and I didn’t want to put the truck back in the outdoor spot beside those clueless drivers, so, I made the garage bigger lol!
Cut out the shared wood wall that is used for the storage area at the back of the garage, took the framing out, reinstalled it about a foot back from where it was, put all the planks and slats back on, and now it fits. Just barely, with about 4” to spare between the garage door and the rear bumper. Got my extension cord running through the rafters to the back where the hood sits for colder evenings (block heater) so I’m all set. The neighbours wonder how I fit that Ram in the garage with the door closed, they try fitting their trucks in their garage and have to leave the garage door open lol .... where there’s a will (and a saw, hammer, nails measuring tape and some sweat) there’s a way!
