Potential Backup Sensor to LED light conversion?

Just a wild thought here, but has anyone else considered eliminating the factory back up sensors and replacing them with LED lights? Obviously more for appearance than anything but the backup sensors are just annoying to me and I think it would be cool to fill the 4 holes in the bumper with some LEDs when I pop it in reverse. Any thoughts???

It’s a interesting thought. I’ve had these on a couple cars and they work really well.

Would deff be different I prefer the led strip below the tail gate but that's just personal preference. For wiring it wouldn't be hard just simple connection to the current reverse wire as the draw would be minimal.
