Power door lock remote

Hi!

My door remote works very bad. Both transmitters has new batteries.
Somebody an idea, what I can check
Is there a kind of antenna I can check?

i want to say, that it is NOT out of order, but it works very bad
If the distance to my ram is more than 10 feet it does not work

The OEM system distance sucks. Period. I found if you DON'T hold the key (metal) it works better, and I've played around and found my glasses can be used to get more distance if I touch the key to the frame. There's videos on youtube of guys using their mouth as a focal device and they seem to be able to get good distance but it seems like Dodge/Ram AM remotes (other brands are just as bad for the most park) suck.

I got sick of lookin crazy in the parking lot, put a Compustar FM system in my truck and its 1000x better. Go FM and forget the stock crap.

I would have to disagree. I can park on the fifth floor at my work, take the elevator down and walk 100 feet away. And if I forgot if I locked my truck or not, hit the button and hear it beep.

Now the button itself sucks, sometimes it won't register the actual press if you press it too quickly. But if you press a very firmly, then it usually works

There's supposed to be one in the steering column. So I've been told. If its unplugged, the RF receiver won't work outside the truck apparently.
