After much troubleshooting, I think it might be the contacts on the bottom of the battery.

Thanks everyone for the help and ideas. After all the troubleshooting, yall not gunna believe what the prob/fix was. After I disassembled the fob down to the circuit board, I squeezed the battery and clicked the x2 to try to start it up. It worked. Then I tried the other buttons too. All worked. Did the second fob too and it worked. So I cut a small piece of card stock and put it under the battery for pressure on the battery and now it works good as new. Beats paying $250 for the dealer to tell me I need a new fob. Thanks again for the help. On to the next issue with a 12yo truck, dealing with surface rust on my rear bumper.
