Hi folks - I have a 3.6L C/V that runs fine, but twice lately under load it's lost power and thrown a code. While climbing a steep grade towing (well within stated towing capacity) suddenly it lost power, check engine light came on as well as the skidding tires light.
First time it happened I had the code read: torque request signal denied. Second time I drove it home and after shut down for about 15 minutes when I started it again the check engine light was out and it ran normally.
Someone suggested a cam position sensor, but what do you people think? Thanks, Bob
