There are folks who do it, but FCA recommends against plowing with a PW. If one was really serious about a dedicated PW plow truck, it’d be a good idea to swap in some stiffer HD truck springs and coil spacers. For keeping the truck stock, look for a lightweight plow.

I actually overlooked the lighter springs on the Power Wagon. No, it's lighter capabilities wouldn't cut it as a heavy duty snow plow with a salt and sand spreader in the back and a plow up front.

Alot of guys don't make 35k in a year let alone 4 days. Lol. $500-$750/hr is highway robbery but since hes donating a little he feels better about it.

Only highway robbery where there is an expectation of large enough amounts of snow on a regular basis as to have a fleet of plows....Seattle, WA... like Vancouver, WA....gets 3-5 inches per year of snow on average....and rarely all at once.

Yea, but like lowsky suggested, put the regular 2500 coils under it (with spacers if you want the pw ride height still) and it will perform just like a non pw.... but with lockers :)

Im thinking of running a plow this winter, i know i have a few accounts lined up already. Instead of buying another truck i am thinking of running the plow on the PW.

Would you swap the coils on all four corners? I do not think I'm going to put a spreader in the bed.

Nah, I wouldnt. If you were loading it heavily I would consider it, or get bags installed, but if the bed is mostly empty I would just keep the stock coils on there.

how drastically different do you think the regular 2500 coils will ride when the plow is not installed?

I wouldn’t think it would be horribly worse, but probably noticeable.

found a nice fisher plow I'm going to try and pick up. plow weighs 900 lbs so i know I'm going to need those stiffer springs. i can always switch it back out after the season is done

not so much the weight of the plow but the forces of the work load watch out for curbs and manholes if you want to make money pushing snow get machine and tow with the pw. that setup looks good but it is hard on the truck
