Soo..I'm not happy, at all.

Kasings in Ellwood just so happened to forget to tell me that something MAY be loose in my front left wheel..

Story short:
Took my baby in to get a new axle seal on my front right and was told my wheel bearing is bad..Asked if I wanted to replace it and I said yes. I asked them to check my left side as well because if one's bad, I'm sure the other is as well. Turns out the left was even worse than the right. Got that part as well, with another hour and a half of labour

Sounds all fine and dandy, eh? I thought so too. Didn't think to check or listen for anything myself because they're a dealership, and I was reccomended to them for the axle seal.

I show up at my boyfriend's house and notice a horrible knocking in my dront left when I turn the music off. I called back and told the guy I have a problem. Then he remembers that he forgot to tell me somethinf may be loose. That's completely unnacceptable. You could come ask me if I wanted a new wheel bearing, but you couldn't mention that y'all left something loose in my wheel?

I'm going up in the morning and pitching a fit about it, and I fully expect it to be done without a cent more charged to me. I will not pay for labour and I will not pay for another part to fix something they broke/left loose and messed up.

Anywho..where do you guys go for things that can't (or you don't feel like it lol) be done yourselves? I'm cancelling my alignment appointment for friday as well. I'm all for driving 30-90 minutes to get something done my a professional that specializes in it, but I will not drive 45 minutes to have something else pop up out of "coincidence".
Not to mention, not only do I want to go throw a fit after spending $600 and it causing another problem, my mum wants to kill them because that vehicle is in her name. Me missing work to fix this (that shouldn't have been broken in the first place) causes her to have to help me with gas to get to work the next week when I only have 25-30hrs on my paycheck.

Bleh, I'm just so upset. :/
I think this is the right section to be posting in, but if not..apologies.

I live in Pittsburgh and would recommend getting a Haynes manual and trying to fix it yourself...if not I usually take my truck to Kelly Dodge in Moon township...its a dealership but they've did work on my 06...nothing needed on my 12 yet but I have no complaints...other than dealer pricing...good luck!

I'll look into the manual. Mum already snapped because I wanted to do an oil change myself.. :/ It's in her name, so I can't make her mad enough to take the keys, lol.

I'm fine with driving up to an hour and a half if they're going to do the job right and not ************ back out. Same with dealer pricing.

I was trying to use our local mechanics, but every one told me I had to go to a dealership because they don't have the tool to fix an axle seal on a ram. :/

Firestone seems like a nice company. I've been using them recently, after getting screwed over by Pepboys and another local shop. I like Firestone, and will be using them until I have a problem, hopefully i won't though

Well, next thing goes wrong that doesn't seem like an easy fix, I'll head out to Firestone then.

As soon as I go back and get my other axle seal replaced :/
"Oh, don't worry about the other side. It's not leaking, so there's nothing tonworry about."
I wanted it checked...he wouldn't listen to me and take the extra money for all the labour. Started leaking two nights ago, didn't realize until they were closed last night when I went home. And, every possible parking spot I have is slanted downon that side. So hopefully all my fluid doesn't leak out *sigh*

I obviously bought the wrong truck..lol.
