Probably a dumb question about the AlphaOBD.

My truck is a 2019 Classic, so I'll need the extra wiring harness to bypass the security measures. So my question is, can I plug that stuff in, program the truck, then remove all of it and keep it programmed?

I only want to add paint matched puddle mirrors, the remote window down, and probably remote start.

Thanks. I figured it worked that way, but just wanted to be sure.

Most leave it in because it's kind of a pain to get back out. Just where it plugs into the can connector(s). If you "hide" the obd2 splitter most likely a dealer would never know it's there.

I have a 2019 Ram classic express and the dealer is telling me I can’t add remote start due to not having keyless entry and having some sentry lock to where I can only use one key is their anything I can do I’m trying not to go aftermarket and also my factory keys are the metal one that go into the fob location

I leave mine in all the time. If i have to take it to the dealer for work ever I will probably remove it before I take it back. Its not too much of a pain to install/remove but I just leave it in for random alphaOBD changes haha

Mine is on and has been on since I installed it ... have taken it to the dealer 2 times since and they haven't said anything about it ...
