Wouldn't have to tear it off, just paint over it. I think you could just use it as a primer

pd = plastidip.

not sure if you can paint over it..........doesn't seem like it would get good adhesion, due to the texture - and its not like you can sand it out.

Headlights look awesome! But your hood looks like it doesnt line up right... there is too much of a gap in between the fender and hood.

i know its bothering the **** outta me! going to try to line it up better today...
im afraid its doing that because of the lighter weight of the fiberglass and the pistons that hold the hood up pushing on the hinges.. hopefully i can figure something out!

You can't paint or clear over Plasti-dip. Once it's on, that's it.

Here are some pics of guys that have PD'd their bumpers and personally I think it looks great. All it takes a few $6 cans and you can do it yourself. I've used this stuff first hand and can vouch for it. If my bumpers weren't already color matched, I wouldn't hesitate to use this stuff on them.

No it won't unless you take a razor blade or something to it. It holds up great and the cool thing is if you do get a scratch on it, just spray over it with a coat and it's fixed

It takes awhile to fully cure, stay away from pressure washing or it'll eat it off for sure. Maybe not after awhile but for about the first month just hand wash it. Scrubbing on it really hard might or might not peel a small piece off but just spray it agian and it's good

Just keep it in a sweeping motion and don't leave it on one area too long and it will be fine.

I have gone through the car wash with mine quite a few times, the automatic ones. Its pretty close to my rims and such and they have held up fine.

I think BMR has tried to take it off with a power washer with no such luck.
