Recently my driver side pwr folding mirror stepped on the rainbow, it will not fold. The right-hand side works just fine. I've seen several yt video with people complaining about the exact issue, but I was wondering if that is something the warranty will still cover?! Anyone else had this problem? I talked to the local dealership here and they want it for 3 or 4 days, don't even try to contact RAM, and I'm not okay with that. Put some tape around it for now... since it's wobbly.

That's something an extended warranty may cover, but you'd need to read through your paperwork to know for sure.

Unless you have an extended warranty your 2018 isn't covered by factory 3/36. Well I guess it could be if you bought it brand new in Dec2019. It would not be covered by your powertrain warranty.

I do have a drivers oem 2018 power fold/auto-dim mirror you are welcome to. The glass and marker light are broken but the power-fold still works fine. You could piece the 2 mirrors together and have 1 good working one. You can have it free, just pay for the shipping. PM if interested and we will work out something.

I don't want to sound like a snob, but I used to work for Mercedez-Benz, and we could ALWAYS inquire about possible goodwill by the manufacturer. It was done in 5sec on the computer, but if we had a special case, we had a specific number we could call if we needed to talk to a person. A decision was reached instantly and THIS is what I call customer service, because sometimes the vehicles were way over the warranty, years and/or mileage. The dealership here doesn't even bother asking Stellantis... it's disappointing. In fact, I have had so many bad experiences that I'm currently preparing a letter to be sent to Stellantis. They need to audit their dealerships!

Anyway, thank you for the offer chopperman1, I'll send you a message soon.
