Convert, for now.
Engine
small
The rear is easy as well if you take the inner plastic out, then the top nut is easier to get too...the bottom bolt on shock is easy.
me and buddy did 2" lower back in 2011 in about 30 minutes, thats swapping springs too.

Isn't there something about like the top nut on the shock being a pain in the ass for the rear?

I'll be keeping an eye out for a install thread. Definitely plan on upgrading to these. I finally got me some hellwig swaybars on the way. So I might go with shocks next or gears/lsd.

I will try and get pics as much as I can, parts and install. Congrats on the Hellwigs! Pretty beefy bars, huh?

The shocks will be about half the price of the gears and lsd. I'll let you know which mod is more satisfying! ;)

Cool thanks. I don't think I'll be able to match your install times, lol! :)

Plus, my "buddies" would be more of a hinderance than a help, so I'll be doing this one bms...

Yeah, they are pretty nice and beefy. Hopefully I get time to install them this weekend.

Just the drop kit and Longtubes will take up most of the time, everything else should go smoothing and quick.

Ok, I had a chance to take a look at the modifications to make these shocks work... First question, how do I get those metal C shaped things off???

I feel stupid that I am stuck on the very first, seemingly basic, step... lol!

I put the front shocks in today, in the parking lot at work, lol. Haven't driven it yet... I'll put the rear ones in next week.

Still waiting on some bushings from Summit and also some new mopar nuts and bolts (I decided since the shocks have been off and on a couple times, I'd rather put new ones on).

Drove home from work 2.5 miles. I can already feel these shocks are f....ing awesome! With only the front onces in, there is a very noticeable difference between the rear Belltechs and the front QA1s!
The front is firm, planted and stable while the rear feels soft and bouncy. Happy, happy so far!!!

Once I get the rear ones in, I will do a detailed write up both on parts/install and driving impressions.

So what modifications and parts did you use to fit the QA1s on your R/T?
