Quad Headlight Full Assembly Replacement Options

Hey all. I haven't seen a specific thread in regards to the headlights in the link below. What is everyone's thoughts? I have the original quad headlights and these should be a direct replacement. They claim to be DOT approved. I'm looking to improve the looks of the truck but more-so want to improve the headlamp performance.

If anyone has experience with these please chime in. Are they easy to install? Just bolt in? Performance vs. original stock quads?

DO NOT BUY THOSE LIGHTS!!!

They are horrible and the projector in them is made from the cheapest parts available.

Plenty of members have bought eBay headlights and they can't believe it when they can't see at night and they all say it doesn't even look like their headlights are on.


Your best bet is to buy the black or chrome Quads on eBay for $125 and then order some led bulbs for the low beams. I suggest you buy the Opt-7 FluxBeam-X LEDS from www.opt-7.com .

Going thus route you would spend roughly $235. About $53 more then those eBay lights.

Seriously just search these forums for "eBay headlights" or "eBay projectors" and you will find the complaints and horror stories from the Spyder and Recon style lights rebranded and sold on eBay cheaper.
