Is there a noticeable difference in light output with the matchboxes? Do all four projectors stay on with the low and highs? Love the way they look just don't know what exactly what to expect from the matchboxes.
he doesn't run all 4 at once.

well...........except in high beams.
A co-worker of mine came and looked at them. He stood in front. I hit the highs and all 4 fired on.
He put his hands up to shield his eyes and swore to me that he could see the bones in his hands.
Ok... maybe that was a little over the top.
Yes they make a difference. I'm not running the fogs when I go to high beams, so the matchboxes take over that portion of the lighting area. Not as wide as fogs, and maybe not as noticeable as the H1 Mini's. Your really not aiming the matchboxes. Kind of hard to.
I went this way because I'm a Canadian eh? No doot aboot it eh?
I have to deal with the DRL's. It also finishes off the lights. Your main source is the Mini's for lighting. The match boxes are supplement lights as they can not be aimed independently.
When all 4 shutters drop, your using the whole projector of all 4, so aiming doesn't really become a factor anyway. I wouldn't depend on just the matchboxes alone on a dark country road. I could do it by turning the lights to off and just run DRL when in gear, but why.
They do look cool as hell and when in DRL mode. Also when off, they look totally custom.... which they are in the land of Recon, Spyder, Spec-D, and factory housing drop in's.
Up to you if the extra $$$ is worth it or not. Could you live without them ... sure. Do you need them?..... depends.
It's a 70/30 split on fashion over functionality. If you rocking DRL's by law, the ratio swings the other way 60/40.
Hope that answered your concerns. Here's a couple of pics o low and hi's with 4 projectors and no fogs. JJ did an awesome job.
I've turned the low so they are bang on level now.
