I had my zone uca installed. I was looking at them today an the arm that is toward the front is very close to the strut mount lip(the thing that flares out)
Driver side has maybe a 1/4" of space between the arm an housing, the passenger side has less than 1/8". I don't think that it's actually rubbing or at least I don't hear it.

So my question it to others with zone uca installed. Is this normal? Do they all fit this tight? Thinking I might need to take it back to have them adjust something

They are side specific and may need to swap sides. The ball joints are not completely centered on the control arms. One side of the arm is slightly shorter than the other. The longer side should face the front of the vehicle putting the ball joint towards the rear. Make sure they installed them on the correct side.

Here is a picture of a driver side installed incorrectly.

My ball joint is toward the rear. But on the picture you posted doesn't look like the metal flares out around the base of the strut mounting housing.

To me, it looks like it is on the wrong side but maybe they updated the design. I recall seeing more clearance. The shorter arm and ball joint should be closer to the door with the longer part of the arm closer to the front of the truck.

I vote Total Chaos (says someone with stock arms)... Where are you located? I've heard uniballs suffer some in heavy snow/salt environments. Kris probably knows better.

Do yourself a favor and if you live anywhere they use salt stay away from uniballs. You will need to put grease on them weekly and probably replace the uniballs every year or two as they will get pitted from the salt even with the grease. I've tone quite a lot a research on it lol

Well I live in Labrador, we use a mixture of salt and sand on the roads over here in the winter, I have a 6" BDS suspension lift and a 3" body lift. Gonna throw on some 37 or 38's soon (as I only have 35's now) was thinking of upgrading to the uniballs
