Question on 3500 suspension

Need a little input... Do the 3500 Ram with air suspension ride similar to 2500? Looking at purchasing a 3500 but worried it might drive too rough even with air. Do 3500 with air ride ride smother than just leaf springs? Anyone experience driving both?

My wife has a degenerative bone disease. Vibration is pain to her in a short period. We test drive be the 2020 Ram 3500 Tradesman CC LB diesel dually without air bags. My truck rides amazingly well. It is now t a Cadillac. But not a 3500 from 10 years ago either.

For the first time since we've had our 12k toyhauler 5th wheel, we drove straight through 500 miles in one day. And she was fine and relaxed and ready for vacation the next day.

We are happy.

3500 still has leafs so the air is a assist. 2500 with air, however it is all air in the rear no coil springs. 3500 with air will ride like a normal 3500 the difference would be once you added weight to the rear.
