My nav defaults to volume level 15. If I set it to 3 and then shut the truck off, when I return and start the truck it defaults to 15 again and I have to readjust. Not an earth-shattering problem, but just annoying. Is there a way to permanently set the default volume?

Thanks

Bob

It is one of my largest complaints about Ram, why can I not just turn the radio off!!!!

I set my volume to 0 before I leave the truck every time and my Nav does not seem to turn the volume back up. This is on a 2014 & 2016 Ram RT and Laramie. Radios are stock and unless they received over the air updates I have never touched them for an update.

I will say, I rarely use the Ram Nav now perferrng to use Google maps that my new 2024 classic truck has via Android audio.

I would try setting the volume to 0 vs 3 just to see if that has any impact or disconnect the Nav by moving back to the radio portion before shutting the truck down.

Tried all of that and it still defaults to volume level 15.

hi, did you ever get this issue with the nav volume figured out? I have a 2024 Laraine with same issue and it bugs the **** out of me.
