RA4 8.4 Radio Nav ?

Just purchased a radio replacement with Nav. How do I reset the map to default in order for me to start over with settings ? It still has the previous owners data and I need to get rid of it.

Dealer said radio may brick with 18.45.1 update. Would like to update Nav (18.13.7). Don’t know whether to try it or not.

When I did the 18.45.01 upgrade on my '16. went smooth as silk without a hickup. The major problem is if there is a problem with the internal modem car, the upgrade will get stuck in a loop trying to do that card and brick the radio.

Updating the NAV is a PITA, but not difficult, as long as you follow the instructions to a "T".
