Hey all. I have a 2015 crew cab im getting ready to trade in for a 2019 rebel.

Im curious about the electronics packages.

I don't see a need for Uconnect 12, the screen seems absurd to me and I am fine with the basic 8.4"

That said, what actually comes with the level 1 package?

Do I still get the pair of USB and USB C charges under the radio stack?

The rear USB i believe is only level 2?

In reading the description it says only level 2 has the USB media hub but I find that hard to believe?

Am I gonna regret not getting the level 2 package?

This is the actual build im looking at. It isn't available to view on the lot right now and the salesmen are all clueless...

Your best bet for understanding the differences is to go-to the Ram website and configure the vehicle with Level 1 and then Level 2 to see what the differences are.

DO NOT assume the truck comes with something that isn't listed on the sticker, because it doesn't! This has made many buyers angry thinking it should have come with a hitch, puddle lights, assisted tailgate, keyless entry, etc. etc.

Almost all of them seem to be, people really need to stop taking their word on anything. Glad you see it, hopefully you can use it to your advantage.

Unfortunately I tried that. And it only says that the level 2 has the USB media hub while the level 1 just doesn't list it. But I am yet to see any 2019 ram that doesnt have USB under the center console.

Maybe get vin #'s from a truck that has level 1 and level 2 and then look up their build sheets? Build sheets seem to cover every single option that the truck has.

I just did a quick compare. Park sense is on level 2 as well as rear storage. There are other things. Read them line for line.

The dealer website is very confusing I guess who knows if its correct because it claims that truck has remote start and parksense while those are level 2 items.

Yeah, I looked at the link you provided. On their features it sounds like it has level 2. I would not go by that though, only the sticker. Dealers fill in the blanks so to speak on the sites and the stickers rarely match.

Yeah don't go off the dealers site at all, more often than not there are things incorrect. The build sheet will tell you everything that truck has, without doubt. Unless someone changed something after the fact, which probably isn't something to worry about with new trucks.

To look up build sheets go to this site and remove the vin that's in the address and replace with the vin of the truck you are looking at. The link I provided will take you to the build sheet of my old truck (2013) but if you replace the vin you can look up whatever truck you want.
