Have a 2014 Sport CC 4wd and am finally looking to level. Been browsing thought threads and I think I've got most of my info, but a quick confirmation of what I've tentatively decided is appreciated.

I've decided on the Rancho quicklift setup for ease of install. Will I need UCA for this? If so, I'd prefer not to spend $400 on UCA's. I read some used Mevotechs from RockAuto. I searched at rockauto and for 2014 they only have raybestos UCA's. Should I be looking for under 2012? Or better yet, does someone have part #'s?

Tires: According to Rancho's website the lift will work with a 275/65r20 tire, this is about a 34.5" overall diameter. I will be using the stock rims. Anyone running these have rubbing issues? I don't want to run spacers.

Speedo Calibration: Will the dealer be able to recalibrate the speedo to compensate for the larger tire size or will I have to get a programmer?

I have same setup but a put icon 1.5" progressive springs in rear to keep the raked look!
3600 miles and UCA's still look new! 275/65 20 on stock rims will fit perfectly!

Here's the part number for the Mevotechs as well as a pic of what they look like! I haven't driven with them on yet, truck is still in the shop being lifted! The look decent though.

The one dealer local to me who does lifted trucks is charging 300 to recalibrate the spedo. IMO it's far more beneficial to get a tuner for just a bit more and then have the benefit of extra power to make those heavier tires roll!

So your still on stock UCA's? You have any more pics?

Also, will 275/65's fit without the level kit in front?

There's no need for new UCAs with the Rancho QLL.

Well, the wifey just said if you are going to get new tires you may as well get new rims too. Who am I to argue, so it looks like plans may have changed. Now I'm looking for either a set of 20's

If I go with the 20's will a 35x12.5 fit with just the Rancho quicklift in front? What offset and rim width should I be looking for. I'd rather the tire be as flush as possible with the fender and I don't want to install fender flares. From what I've read that mean that I want as close to a 0 offset, correct? Will there be rubbing with 35s and the low offset?

Also, I'm trying to find some black lug nuts. Does anyone know what the lug nut specs?

Level Kit stress on UCA's

Hey I don't know anyone that has used them yet but maxtrac has just released a 2.5 level kit that they claim doesn't require UCA on the 13-14 it uses 2 different spacers to keep correct suspension geometry for the ball joints. 2013-2014 Dodge Ram 1500 4WD 2.5" Leveling kit. I'm looking into them I'm not sure what the cost yet but it's a idea.

Just wondering if you ended up purchasing that level kit? I have a '14 Ram 1500 Sport and I want to level it but I am hesitant due to all the problems I am hearing about with the UCA's.

I bought mevotech UCAs and installed them with my procomp prorunner adjustable shocks. I got the mevotechs from rock auto under a 2011 ram and they work great.
