Bought my '13 sport CC 4X4 last year and I decided its time to lift.

I decided to go w/ the a RCX 4" lift and 35X12.50X20 tires either Toyo or the Nitto's

reason for the 4" is I need the truck to fit in the garage. I would rather to do the 6" with 37" tires but thats not going to fit in the garage and don't want to kill my MPG

I have 3.55 gears so I think it's better for me to go with the 35" tire so I don't loose much power or MPG. I may add the bill 5100's down the road to get a bit more lift and help out the ride quality.

Planning on doing it all in February, just want to start planning prior to purchasing the parts.

You're still going to lose a ton of mpgs by running Toyos. I've got them on my truck now and get about 13-14 mpg average. If fuel economy is important find a lighter weight tire. Also don't expect Bilsteins to improve ride quality if you have them set any higher than 0". They preload the spring which increases spring rate and makes the front end ride stiffer

Just wanting to make sure the 35" tires will agree with 3.55's I have never had this tall of a gearing in my trucks. Also curious of the stock tire and wheel weight.

WarMachine made a great point of the Toyos weight. I ran Dune grapplers on my last truck. But that was on the east coast w/ a lot of sand. Being on the west coast now I am leaning more towards the Terra grapplers close to same weight as the Toyos around 80 lbs

I have 35x12.50 trail grappers with 3.55's. It's doable but you'll definitely lose the sporty feel of your truck. My mpg's went down to 13ish after lift/tires. I recently installed my stock wheels/tires for winter and my mpg's went back to 16-17ish. If I keep the truck I'll probably switch tires to something lighter. I really have no need for trail grapplers anyways since I don't do any off-roading.

Are you guys running the 6sp or 8sp tranny? I have 3.92s in my 13 Sport CC and i am getting 13 average with stock tires and i drive mostly highway. I dont even want to know what i am going to be at when i eventually go to 35s or 37s. :doh2:

I get about 19 on the highway with the 6speed 13-14 in the city… I expect a MPG loss, I'll probably add the Vararam intake to help with the power. I have already done the exhaust with 18"maggy.

I do take my truck off road, but rarely do I have to even use 4X4. I might look for a lighter less aggressive tire… I am considering a 33" or 34" lighter tire to help with the loss of MPG, but I dobt it would look right on the truck with the lift. IMO 35x12.50X20's are perfect

BTW did you recalibrate your speedo withe the tires, or is that the milage reading calculation? you might actually be getting better milage then you think

I've got the 6 spd solely because I hated the shifter knob.

You should run the Toyo AT 2 Extreme in 35x12.5x20. They look a lot better than Terra Grapplers which look pretty plain IMO

i get 12.5 mpgs with 37 inch toyos purely city driving, highway isnt much better anyways. and thats with it being winter and starting my truck for 5-15 minutes 1 or 2 times a day 5 days a week.

and thats also accounting for larger distance per rotation, math works out to my tires add about 17 percent over stick (stock 31 inch tires) so my spedo says 380 kilometres, where as its actually closer to 435 km

No need to recalibrate because I am still running stock wheels. I am getting 13MPG average with Bone stock truck, and most of my driving is highway driving. I would say 80 percent highway.

I only have 2000 miles on my truck though, and it is winter time so i am hoping this will improve.
