R47 Recall on 14-15 quad cab side curtain airbags

my truck is going in for the 3rd time for these recalls

1st time recall performed with ****** just **** workmanship

2nd time goes back in to literally get the interior put back together

3rd scheduled time next monday to go back because my 3rd light leaks water into my cab now............

I've had a couple great dealership experiences , I've had MORE that was FAR LESS THAN GREAT . I've had horrible dealership experiences ....

I now have 3 ea Recalls on my truck , I'm dredging taking it.in to the dealership for them to F++K up something on my truck that was fine before ...

Worst part " usually " they won't let me be in the shop to watch ...

I get it , I've been a technician for 25 years at the" DEALERSHIP " . Not automotive , I don't like it when the customer is up my a++ all day

, I do get it but I don't screw up things that I work on .... warranty or not .

At my shop we treat every job as if it was on our own , .... shouldn't this be the standard ?
Yes it should .

It shouldn't matter if it's a 30-60k vehicle or a much more expensive product .

I may have to locate a friendly dealer to "check" mine off of the recall list for a small favour in return obviously, if you know what I mean ;-) Their techs are gonna be ace, it should hopefully take them merely 4 mins to do this 9 hour task LOL * cough cough *

You have the right to decline recalls. But I can tell you that the cheapskates at FCA would not be spending the money to fix all these trucks if there wasn't reason for it.

You can ignore it. I don't think you can refuse it. It will follow vin as incomplete. Not owner refuses.

guess what i hope you never take any passengers or have to activate your airbag, because i had 3-4 different recalls for just that.

im very paranoid taking friends/family around when i have 4 outstanding recalls on a vital safety equipment such as airbag deployment in my vehicle - you should be to

I never could sleep well, now I know why. In all honesty, I couldnt give a flying fu** about the R47. Ive got 101 problems and the Dodge recall aint one.

More chances of seeing a flying pig than the airbag not deploying as my truck is rolling over due to my ineptness whilst rushing to my local Wally world to stock pile some 22 ammo. * cough cough *
