We are actually headed camping at Falls Lake if the weather holds out. There are like 35 of us going so it should be a good time... Still nothing like being at the beach though.

I've got a good weekend planned. Dinner with my g/f on an opportunity she had gotten via a church that is allowing parents of special needs kids to go out for a date night. The church watches the kids with tons of things for them to do and the parents get a gift card to go out to dinner at 1 of a dozen places. Can't pass that up.

I haven't found anywhere at MB to drive on the sand but you can at both ends of Carolina Beach.

Yes it is. There are a lot of cool organizations that do things for families with special needs kids.

Believe it or not my g/f wasn't going to take advantage of this, but I told her she is with me now and why not. Her son will have a great time and her and I get to spend some time together. It's a good thing all around.
