Hi All
I have had the spring on my 2021 2500 Ram Box lid pop out twice now. Has this happened to any others? Any special tricks to fixing? I had taken the lid off and twisted the spring back in place but it doesn't hold for some reason

My 18 2500 and my 22 2500 both have Ramboxes. I've never had any springs pop out of anything. I'm not even sure what springs you mean. Sounds like a warranty claim to me.

Without ever having removed the spring myself, it sounds to me like you unknowingly broke or damaged something when you removed yours. Springs popping out on their own isn't a common issue with the rambox lids. Hopefully someone else here has experience with that. Otherwise it might be time to have a tech look at it if you're not able to figure it out on your own.

Thank you ,
I opened the lid one icy morning and it went fwap! There is one long wire/spring/rod that goes the length of the box and at both ends it turns 90 degrees to help lift the door. It just flipped out and therefore no help in lifting the lid. Strange

I had that happen on one side on my '15 Laramie 1500. It really annoyed me since I use the rambox constantly. I never saw anything on the forums. I'm in Hawaii, so I can't blame it on the cold. I distinctly remember the popping sound when it went out. I finally fixed it myself. Hopefully, you still have one good side to reference. The long rod springs just need to be carefully manipulated back into the correct brackets at both ends. I used a small set of vice grips and a flat head screwdriver to push and pull. Good luck and Aloha

Same story. Opened the lid and thwang. Almost hit me in the face but luckily, no harm-no foul. I can tell it's not an easy fix. I wonder if Ram needs to fix and recall this, before someone loses an eye!

Happened twice on the right side, rambox lid was warped so dealer replaced the entire Rambox assembly a couple years ago and it hasn't happened since.
