Planning on buying this week, new to Rams and just looking for advice on what to look for, what to look out for between the following vehicles.

Background: not planning on towing, about 60% highway or non stop-go traffic. I live in a place were it gets to -40 regularly during the winter and this vehicle will be parked outdoors, so I'm looking away from air suspension. Have 3 kids and a wife, hence the crew cab only restriction.

1) 2016 Sport Crew, HEMI, 60k miles, $23k
2) 2018 Laramie Crew, HEMI, 14k miles, $33k
3) 2015 Longhorn Crew, Ecodiesel, 69k miles, $26k

All of them come with lifetime engine warranties from the dealership. Mainly debating between the Sport and the Laramie (almost exactly equipped the same) and I'm cross comparing it to a 2018 F-150 Lariat (3.5EB, 14k miles, $37k)

Thanks for any input, experiences and thinks to look out for.

I’d go with the 2018 if I were you. That seems to me like it would be a the best value.

The Laramie definitely looks like the best bang for the buck. If you drive a lot, the Eco will get better mpgs, but the emissions system can be troublesome and at -40 degrees, a diesel can be finicky.

2018 Laramie. It’s a nicer truck and with the lower mileage you won’t be replacing parts as soon as the others so you’ll make up for some of the 10k diff right there. I have the big horn and my neighbor has the Laramie. He’s very happy with it.

Love my 18 Laramie CC. Plus it has Android Auto/CarPlay. The heated/cooled seats & other features are worth the upgrade over the sport IMO (I almost bought one... $1500 more). Paid $36k for mine as a 'new' dealer demo with 4k miles on it. Now at 30k miles and hasn't missed a beat yet. Still put a few cosmetic upgrades & better tires on it once they wore out...

M² Mods.

If purchasing Maxcare gives you a warm and fuzzy you can only do it with the Laramie. Since it’s within 4 years 48k miles.
