Hey all

My Gen 5 limited with projector LED headlights with integrated turn signals has an issue. The turn signal on the drive side front has stopped working. I have done some googling and have not seen any solutions other then replacing the entire head light assembly. Quick call to the dealers tells me that's a 1200.00 touch for the part alone.
Before I punch my self in the face and order one , is there anything else that I could be missing?

Truck has 70K on the clock. No rust or corrosion that I can see on the connections to the head light.

Thanks in advance.

Could check voltage at the connector, bcm should have a code stored in it if there is an issue if you have a decent scanner

Those light rarely go out, you can break them but it's highly unlikely it just stopped working.

The advice given so far is on target. Check for codes then make certain you have power. My bet is on a bad ground. I would also load test your battery just to be safe.

There is nothing you can do but have it changed. Both of mine have been changed due to the drivers side having the white DRL strip go out then 1 1/2 years later the passenger side turn signal went out. Both were due to an internal short. Luckily my extended warranty took care of both replacements. No codes were stored but I did get a front turn signal out message on the center cluster screen. My battery was good and so were all the grounds.

If it comes to replacing, check with Benny @AllMoparParts.com
He could have a better price than your dealer ;)
EDIT - I see your in Canada. That may not be an option

It's a sealed unit you have to replace the complete Assy.
