I inherited a 2004 ram 1500 4x4 5.7 hemi from my late father. I am looking into lowering it. Not trying to slam it but I’d like at least a 3-5 inch drop. It’s sitting on 20s and seems to sit higher. No steppers and I have to do a jump up and slide out which is getting old. Lol. So far I’ve tinted the windshield. Added a snub antenna . Added Rainguards. Swapped tierods and endlinks.

I’m a car girl who does her own work. I have a fusion lowered so I have some knowledge but nothing when it comes to 4x4 trucks. Any info on getting her a little lower would be greatly appreciated.

Check with some well know lowering suspension companies like belltech or ground force. If I remember right on the 2004 leaf spring rear the most you might be able to do is a 4 inch drop using shackles. Any more than that might require an axle flip kit. Not sure on the front. I've only lowered 2 wheel drive trucks.
