It's a real game changer, to be honest I am

My son just came from the dealer shopping for a 2025 anD was told that the Hurricane would be excluded.
blown away by this. Makes the hurricane a real option in my opinion. Thanks brother for posting. IMO the hurricane probably a better option for most over e torque if they own a 10 year warranty.

wow, makes sense for sure if true, but if this isnt a total answer for the hemi I don't know what is. The issue with di turbo's is potential for lspi on aging engines, so not offering a 10 year on that makes sense, but makes the engine choice real simple imo.

They have a huge investment in Americanizing their brand, they need to suit up and walk down to epa and ask for the same exemption on non e torque as they will get for e torque. Make Rams great again. Clearly, their way failed. I like a lot of what I see, but the main thing is still on the board.

Maybe the dealer just uninformed, or knows something we don't. It would be bizarre to offer a ten warranty on everything but your house engine, lol?

Better hope it's better than the Hyundai/Kia 10year 100,000 mile warranty that requires 100% complete maintenance receipts and a letter from the Pope to even be considered for a preliminary review.

You all really need to go back and look at the FCA UNLIMITED WARRANTY, while they did do a lot of good generally speaking it was absolutely smoke and mirrors, my guess this is the same.

Strange. My Canadian bought 2016 1500 eco diesel and my 2018 hemi 1500 used at&t for their services. Though I mostly just used my cell coverage for calls, telus specifically.

Now with my 2024 3500, I don't really even know exactly who coverage is with, but it handles roaming seamlessly so far for the tomtom nav. Just wish there was any practical way to inform them that their rerouting for construction closures is stupid bad - tried to send me 2 hours out of the way for a small closure on the I90 which was really just take an off ramp and the on ramp to avoid repaving both lanes under the overpass.

In the US, AT&T is the biggest player in the connected car business on the cell service provider side. It's not even close.

With only 11,000 miles on my 2021 Bighorn, she's staying right where she belongs, at home, when not towing my Duckworth to the river and the lakes. My daily driver is my bullnose f-250, still running like she is happy to git er done. If only Ram (Stellantis) would let me update the Connect radio to wireless. Feels like they forget us after the purchase on radios and most of the electronics.

well, i might start watching the NasCar Truck racing again

Of course, there will NOT be a single major MOPAR part on the truck.

I did not see what outfit will be the GARAGE for the Ram.
WOODS Brothers would be a good choice
For 2025 Ram 1500s are rated to have 45% of American made parts.

The reason they lied to him is to get him to buy a truck now instead of waiting. Once the '26's get here, no one will want the '25's because of the warranty. They need to get rid of the '25's now.

I think you're right. I just looked at a local dealer site and they list a 2025 Laramie at 55% US content, 39% Mexico (the engine is made in Mexico).

They've been "structural plastic" over a stamped steel skeleton for years. Did the 2026 change that?

i'm not sure...i just saw some guys on FB talking about it and showing the part, claiming it's used in the 2026 Ram 1500. Maybe this was new to them (and me)

First time i've ever saw that.

If it's the same one they've used since 2019, it's a stamped steel skeleton with "structural plastic" over that.

I don't know if this link to a .pdf will work, but here's an OEM one cut open to compare to an aftermarket one: https://www.mevotech.com/xfactors-b...19-ram-1500-5th-gen-front-upper-control-arms/

GM has used this concept in several different applications.

I'm reading the text of the 10 year/100K miles warranty extension on the 2026 RAM. It specifically only covers the original owner! NOT TRANSFERRABLE!

How many of us actually keep their truck that long?

With the dozen or so LD pickup truck owners I know, most are between 6-8 years old. But with current pricing the way it is I can easily see many keeping them 10 years.

For me the issue isn't years, but miles.
