Rancho Quick lift Question, please help!

So I'm about to buy some new Rancho Quicklift shocks/struts, but unfortunately they do not come in the original package and I'm not 100% sure they are the correct part numbers. I know what my truck requires : rs999944 and rs999930. Are those numbers stamped into the shock body? Or is it rs999793 that's stamped into it? Also can anyone confirm the top black mounting plate part number? These are 905914.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Anyone have a set and can verify? I'd hate to buy these and go to install them only to find out they're not the correct ones for my Ram.

No the actual quicklift part numbers are not on them anywhere, at least they weren't on mine. I do recall seeing those other numbers on the shock and plate though, I can verify when I get home. I will be installing mine tonight actually. If you look at the location of the adjustment knob, you should be able to tell which is which. That knob should be pointing towards the front of truck when installed.

Quick question, why did you go with the rancho versus the bilstein? And how do you like the rancho?

I'm going with the Rancho because its a new assembly, coil and shock. Bilstein is just a new shock. I figured over a few years of the stock coil springs supporting that heavy hemi the stock coil spring has probably been affected in some way. So why reuse it? Why not just replace it while you're at it. Plus the added feature of of the adjustment. They say there is 400% dampening from the '1' setting to '9' and I think they compare the '1' setting to have a similar dampening to the stock shock.

Well I got mine installed and I gotta say, I'm disappointed. The ride is great, but their claims of a 2.5" of lift appear to be false. I did have 2.5" right after I installed them but I measured again 2 days later and it settled another inch down to 1.5". I'm assuming that is how they were able to get away with making those claims. I read a couple reviews with similar complaints prior to making my purchase but the majority of people said they were in fact getting 2.25 to 2.5. Now I'm wondering if those folks only measured it once right after the install.

I have them and I can say after 5 months I still have 2.5 inches of lift. Try upping the dampening because that's what my dad had to do on his longhorn to get the same amount of lift as me since it's a heavier truck. I have an express with basic interior/plastic bumper

rancho doesnt claim they give 2.5" of lift. i believe they claim 2".

Actually I can't find where Rancho claims anything at all as far as the amount of lift from them. The different retailers are claiming 2" or 2.25" depending on where you look though, so yea apparently I was off on the 2.5".
