I couldda used one of those on some of the long night drives I was doing in the 90s. Truck stops few and far between back then.

Back when I started driving, the truck stops were almost all full service fuel with restaurants/diners.

You sat at the bar or in a booth, order from a real live waitress, whom you usually paid the check to.

Free refills on all the coffee you could drink, and you could get your thermos refilled for a small amount, or maybe free.

Some stops I frequently went to would fuel your truck, wash the windshield, and at your request, pull it up and out of the way so you could eat.

Those were the days. Flirting with the waitresses, the staff getting to know you by your name, you were treated like a person.

Everyone had a CB, and would actually talk to you. I've ran runs with some very nice people I got to know from the CB.

My uncle had one in late 1960's. I think it's a '65 Ford Falcon with a V-8.

Are you referring to the pic? If so, that's not a Falcon, it's a '65 GTO

That's the only Chryco product i kept when i sold the truck and the wifes 1320 Challenger,was our 300. After the wife shattered her right leg and couldn't drag race anymore,the fun went out of going to the track every week-end,but not a chance in hell was i selling the 300,as it's the nicest daily driver car i've ever owned.
