Going to order some power steps in about a week or so. I know this subject has been covered a bunch but people's opinions change after they have had them for awhile. Was looking at the RBP since it dual motor and has fine tune adjustment to rocker. The price of AMP doesn't bug me because I can get a discount on them. So let me hear your experiences and how they have held up.

I have the AMP steps on my Rebel. They have been on my truck for over two years and not an issue. In fact this is my second set of steps on two trucks. Work as described, well made, would not hesitate to purchase again.

I went with Amp and have been happy so far.
My reasoning was, I had seen some so so reviews on the bestop so those were out. The RBP seemed like a good option , especially with the dual motors but the more I looked into them I didn't like the big logo printed on the steps (probably not visible on a 1500 since it is pretty low to the ground) and I did not like the way that they used sensors at each door to activate the steps. The Amps hard wired into the door open circuit seemed like a better option to me.
Also the amps have a switch you can add to deactivate (RBP does also) but also activate them open for cleaning without having the door open (pretty sure RBP does not do that)
.

Went with amps myself. I did have to do some adjustment to prevent them from hitting the pinch welds but that’s a common problem besides that I’ve heard nothing but good things about Amp.

Yeah the door sensors seem like a down side. Logos can be covered but I definitely dont like company advertising on my truck

I got the RBP steps. They are awesome and the only way you can see logo is if you are laying under the truck, or your truck is so jacked up it’s over your head. The logo is kinda ghosted in black on black as well. Magnets took a few min to get lined up on the doors, but after that they work like a champ, and I like that they are completely independent of the trucks wiring.

I put the AMP's on my 2015 and have had great luck so far after one year. I'm one that thinks adding a switch where one already is present is a waste. The plug and play with a cheap OBD splitter off of Amazon works fine, this way I have an open port.
