That thing is so sexy. The power ratings confuse me though. What is BTL mode?

BTL is a fancy acronym for mono or bridged mode.

So a blow out price on these TM65 6.5″ Woofer | Stereo Integrity had me pick a set up. 9mm of linier Xmax which most subs in the main stream market can't provide that much clean excursion. If you are into audio and trying things out pick up a set and down the road if you don't like them sell them for twice what you paid cause they won't be produced anymore.

Etroze, you seem to go through a lot of speaker/sub/amp setups. What do you do with your previously used gear?

I usually sell it at a loss either to friends or trade it on DIYMA. My goal is to try everything I possibly can within reason kinda like doing market research. I think if all works out these amps maybe the last I buy for a long while though.

Well sat in my truck listening to a good chunk of my music library and all I can say is wow the 300.2 really made my 13TW5 come alive. I now have to turn down sub level on my head unit or the bass just becomes over powering in my Reg Cab.

Whoa Whoa there....my kind of stuff. The sheer look of Mosconi amps makes me gitty. I personally think they are some of the sexiest amps out there.

Thanks auto, I don't know if I'll be letting it go anytime soon as the next step would be the Zero class or something by Brax or Sinfoni and idk if I'm ready to take that leap yet lol.

I am with you though the look to me is like looking at a muscle car that has small block badges on it but when you pop the hood there is a giant big block sitting in there and no one is the wiser.

Just on a sound board, if you do go that route just remember it will sound really really full due to room gain when listening to it that way. I don't get enough output from the 10TW1 but that's me. Actually I'm not a fan of much below the W6/TW5 as I have ruined my fair share of W3's W1's and W0's trying to get the output I like.

Well that's not what I like to hear lol. It will still be a while before I do a stereo in this thing. I may just get a fiberglass enclosure similar to the JLs, or try something behind the rear seat.

If you are willing to spend the cash I would take a look at NetAudio, assuming you have a CC. They will let you get a full depth sub in there and if you are sticking with JL I would do a W6, if not there are a ton of great options out there. Next subs I'd like to play with are Audio Frogs offerings.

I actually e-mailed him and he said he couldn't build me something that would retain the factory fold out floor. Maybe I will shoot him another e-mail and see if he can build something for behind the seats.

Not trying to thread jack but this is where the pros reside...I swapped out all of the speakers and head unit in a 2015 RCSB. Components up front, coax in the rear. I can barely hear the rears because of the seats and seat belt locations. Any thoughts on eliminating the rears to run the door components active? I have an older 8 channel audiocontrol xover just staring at me.
