It would be fun for sure, but my fabrication skills are nowhere near some of the guys on here. I'm still learning how to handle fiber glass and resin everything else my buddies can teach me since they are body guys.

Not even just the fabricating, it's picking the right amps with the right speakers, and then installing all of it properly...

Actually, I really want to put my sub inside the center console seat (someone on here did that), allowing the seat to look and function as normal.

Center counsel are sweet but I never see one done right in person, but I know the talented people here will have one done soon. If you want to learn I'd hit DIYMA.com guys over there make this their lives.

I did a center console enclosure for a 10 that turned out great. Had to cut some foam out of the seat with an electric carving knife to get some airspace and your really limited on subs but it's not too tough.

Dude that box came out great. I can respect the time and effort it took to get it that level

Well today I came to the realization that swapping in more detailed speakers is kinda making me hate the music that I love listening too. I listen to mainly rock and this morning heading to work I had the newest Alterbridge CD in and man you would think with Miles Kennedy's voice they would want to record it so it is the start of the show but No they amp up the mid range and really really blow out the top end of most songs. Hopefully I will be a little happier if I ever get the Dyna audio's in but right now I think I will have to do some more manual tuning with the 80prs to be happy.

Yep still running the Skars and they are still going strong. I have Hertz ET20 tweeters in the dash and still have the Soundqubed PA speakers in the doors but I have Dyna MW150's waiting for me to have some time to pull the doors down and mount those.

I feel you on the music. I used to listen to like %95 metal. Lamb of god, breakdown of sanity, devildriver and fast heavy stuff like that. Although the DSP cleaned up the midrange and stage, it sounds 100x better but it's so poorly produced/recorded, it's hard to listen to.

A SQ oriented setup has given me a much higher appreciation for "good" music, I find myself listening to stuff if never listen to on a regular system.
