So I was playing around more with those ivx 12's that I have in a 3 cubic foot box and was playing some Chevelle and Chalk outline came on and damn that kick drum was hitting me in the gut. I couldn't believe how well it is playing those quick hard beats in such a large sealed box, kinda blew me away.

I second that. When I had the 4 ID 8" sealed, I couldn't get over how well they played down low for being sealed, and only 8". It would be hard for me to run a big ported box again knowing how good a sealed one can sound

Right its always fun to get my buddies to giggle at output from my sealed boxes that I have made. They litterally sit there mouth wide open in shock at how clean it sounds and then just start giggling with the bass drops.

I can't get 1/4 but if I could I would use that. Half inch will work but I think I should have recessed the speaker a bit. I'm not too worried with these but the 6.5s that I'm looking at doing will need all the available room they can get with their xmax.

Thanks man thats all I wanted was something there that looks like it belongs. I only got a chance to set basic xover points so really I can't say how it sounds but seriously the PPI program is one of the easiest I've used once you get past the initial setup of how you are setting up channels.
Now going to get more roadkill and shorter rca's install those get the MLV up on the doors. That vinyl is a pain to hold into place by yourself lol.

I played with the program before I got a DSP. Was def one of the easiest and most straight forward.

Hear u in the mlv... Zip ties are your best friend. Those plastic "Christmas tree" door clips worked wonders too. Just drill a hole and push em in

That is exactly what I am going to pick up tonight when I head into town. I can't believe that MLV is only 40 bucks shipped to my house though, pretty sure im going to get a couple more rolls and do my floor pan and ceiling when it gets warmer again.
