I've been searching for 45 minutes now. I cannot seem to find any information on rear adjustable bils. I have 17inch rims with stock size tires (BFG - TA KO ; original yeah!). I want to keep the rims and tires because I love them. I want to give the truck a little facelift when it's time to change out the shocks. I want all 4 bils 5100 adjustable (front and rear). I want to keep the truck with a bit of factory rake but raise the front and rear a bit. Was thinking 1.7 front and a 0.5 in the rear. Is this possible with the rear? Do I need to beef up any UCAs with this setup? Is the ride just as good as stock?

Most of all, anyone got any pics with this type of setup?

They do not have adjustable shocks for the rear.

They are for trucks with 0-1” of lift in the rear. And yes, spacers would probably be the best way to go if you only want a .5” lift in the rear.

So you add a 1/2 inch spacer and this shock is supposed to work in conjunction with that?

Front goes up a bit 1.7, back goes up a bit 0.5, do I need to do anything else? Will this put too much stress on parts?

Some have used the Bilstein 5100 rears with 1.5" spacers and still haven't had any problems.

If your existing rear shocks are in good shape and you're only adding 1/2", your existing shocks would work fine too.

I am running a 1.5in spacer with 5100s and haven't had any issues at all.

This is really good to know. Any adverse affects from a 1.7 lift in the front end? I would doubt it, but...

They advertise as 0-1” because they are good to work with up to 1” of loft but they do not do the actual lifting. You would need rear springs for that.

Front Bil’s @2.1 and 1.5” coil spacer in rear with 5100’s. No negative issues. Bilstein shocks themselves are 100X better than the OEM crap the truck came with. Much improved performance.

I just replaced my rears with the 5100s. And after install I have realize that my truck has about a 2inch lift on it (I bought the truck a few months ago, hence realizing now it has a lift). Will the standard 5100s work or should I have put on the longer ones? How will I know if they are too short?

Unless you're planning on doing some off-roading.... I'm going to say it'll be fine. We put 3" blocks on my Buddy's 2013 GMC Sierra with stock replacement shocks and his truck drives fine. He pulls a big trailer a lot too.

You should be good like Matts said. I did some 4 wheeling a couple weeks ago with the 5100s and my 1.5in rear spacer and never noticed any issues.
